Terms & Conditions

The contest is for residents of the United Kingdom only. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. Employees of The Calcot Collection and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition cannot enter.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry per person will be accepted.

The competition will be open for entrants on Tuesday 17th November and the closing date for entry will be 11:59pm on Monday 23rd November 2020.

After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.

No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered.

Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

Three individual entrants that have met the conditions will be chosen randomly to win the prize of:

An overnight stay  with breakfast and a book bundle provided by Country House Library for two people.

Travel is NOT included. The prize must be taken before 31/03/2021. The prize can’t be redeemed on key dates, including Christmas and New Year.

The prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

The prize winners will be notified by email by 27/11/2020. If a winner cannot be contacted or they do not claim their given prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.

The prize winners may be contacted during their visit to post on their social media channels about their experience.

By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
